Sihanoukville - Cambodia

Cambodia is known for its gorgeous deserted beaches and islands...so we decided to go and check it out...they are really beautiful...its just a pity it poured with rain for the full 3 days we were there!

Walking down the road to the beach.

The beach. The water is a little mirky from all the rain.

Beach bars and clubs line the shores with fresh seafood BBQ's, cocktails and loungers.

Hundreds of bars...all of which are packed by night with alcohol hungry tourists!

Bar at the end of the peer.

Looking back at the bars...

Had the sun been shining, it would have been exquisite.

Sitting at the peer...luckily it stopped raining for 5 minutes so i could take these photos!

The treacherous skies filled with monsoon!

Walking back...Everything is situated down one main road and then along the beaches.

CCPP - Cambodian Children's Painting Project. You can buy their paintings and it goes to education and childcare.

The main road in Sihanoukville...its really small!

The place we stayed.

Walking into the hotel...

The famous golden lions as you drive into Sihanoukville.

The end of the main road!

Road kill waiting to happen...and all the traffic just goes around it and people ignore it like its not there.

It was really close to a the restaurant area...and there are not may Hindu's in Cambodia...LOL

The bar and restaurant at our hotel.

Watching Wimbledon...I'm miserably unhappy Nadal is out.

Oh well, we couldn't stay another day and hope for sunny weather, so its off to Siem Riep to see Angkor Wat....WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOO...
