When you are on the open water all you can see is ocean and islands that pop out in the most random places.

Panyee Island, A muslim fishing village built in the water on stilts.

 They have a school and markets and its a proper community, you wouldn't have to leave if you didn't want to.

James Bond Island is named that because it was used in the 1974 James Bond Movie "The man with the Golden Gun"
