In order to get to onto the islands, you need to catch a boat, a high speed catamerang from the port to the islands.
We went by bus from Bangkok to Chumphon and then by boat to Koh Tao
We managed to find accommodation upon arrival at the Blue Wind Resort...Bungalows on the beach.
A bit of a shock after 5 star living at the Four Seasons! Oh well it was only for one night or a we thought...

Gorgeous beaches, flat seas as warm as bath water, white sands, beach restaurants, coconut shakes....mmmmm paradise....
Koh Tao is one of the top destinations in the world for diving, so we left for the full moon party in Koh Phagnan, and decided to come back for an additional 9 days and do a diving course!
Missing it already....but i know there are more beautiful beaches to come...

Barbeque on the beach. Every night all the restaurants make delicious kebabs and fresh fish and you can go and eat them on the beach.
