Koh Tao - Second time round...

Mwaaaaaaaah x x x x

We saw the most incredibly beautiful sunsets on the beach

Simple Life Divers: Aude (Our instructor from France) ; Ansel (Our other instructor from USA) ; Me ; Kyle ; Toni (Did the course with us and he's from Austria) and Elvie (French Belgium was also in our class)

Swings on the beach!

Sairee Beach - the best place in Koh Tao. An awesome night life, beautiful beach, fantastic diving and delicious coconuts!

Songkran is the Thai New Year where they stand in the road and throw buckets of water and spray hoses and water pistols at all who passes by. The reason for the water being thrown everywhere is because it is symbolic of cleaning and washing away all negativity and bad omens so as to start the New Year off with a clean slate.

We were sopping wet the entire day. As you can imagine it turned into drunken debauchery and there were a few casualties that we saw!

Poor people on the scooter!

Fun, fun, fun....for a little while and then you wat to smash everyones head in that sprays water on you!

Watching the sunset from a place called Fizz where you lie on bean bags on the beach and can order a beer! What a pleasure.

More gorg sunsets

The staple diet!

Did you know that "best and the best pancake" actually means its the best pancake in Koh Tao and the best in the whole of Thailand. So its the best and the best pancake!!!!!

The view from Blue Wind Resort where we stayed.

Our room at Blue Wind

Orange orchids... a first for me!

So you can buy Two Oceans at the super markets in Thailand for a rip off price of 490 Baht which is about R130!!!

Too much goodness.

Our last evening in Koh Tao...
