Georgetown & Crystal Guesthouse

Walking through Georgetown, it's a really cultural place. You walk through Little India where they serve samoosas and sell sari's and all sorts and they play Indian music and there are mosques everywhere. You can turn a corner and be in China Town, where there are temples and Chinese restaurants and it is completely different from the last block! Plus, the buildings and the city are beautiful.

Temple in China Town, on the next corner there was a beautiful mosque.

Little India...the samoosas were delicious.

The Police Pondok (first South African word I've seen in 4 months).

Typical Chinese home in the suburb of China Town.

Amelia coffee shop down one of the cute side streets.

The painting on the wall fits perfectly where the bike has been placed!

Chew Jetty. A jetty where people live and run businesses from.

Walking along the jetty.

The streets of Georgetown.

Little India

Park in the city. People run and play soccer here in the evenings. Its right at the ocean.

The City Hall. You can definitely see this place was colonized by the Brits!

The peer.

Walking back through the business part of the city.

Sitting at Reggae Bar - right outside our guesthouse.

Our room at Crystal Guesthouse...BEAUTIFUL or what????

The entrance to the guesthouse is a massage parlor!

Waiting for the bus to take us to Kuala Lumpur!
