Salang, Tioman

Tioman Island was voted by Time magazine back in the seventies as one of the most beautiful places on earth...well, its a true story! It is quite sensational. 

Where we are staying is the diving central of Tioman and there are corals and sea life that would blow your mind! The sea water is as clear as tap water and Salang is only about a km wide. It consists of a few restaurants and some hotels. We are staying in a beach bungalow. 

They have these monitor lizards everywhere...pretty scary...I didn't know they got that big!

Just like a crocodile and they lurk around in the water! 

Beautiful sunset...

The beach...we spent the entire day yesterday lying on the beach and swimming. The great thing about this place is that it cools down at night.

We found some Two Oceans wine here at a dodgy little shop, so we bought a bottle and sat on the beach and watched the sunset.

Our bungalow inside...yes, those are the sheets I packed from home! I'm not sure this is the cleanest place on earth! These sheets were the best idea ever!
