Blue Lagoon - Natural Cold Spring

As mentioned before, Laos is not the coldest country in the world, therefore anything cold, water, icy anything like that is totally welcomed!
This is a natural spring that is icy cold. From the near 40 degree temperature outside into the icy water is possibly one of the most divine things!

They call it the Blue Lagoon because the water is clear and blue.

We just swam and swam and swam...I couldn't get enough.

They have these nice huts with mats that you can lie in and dry off and warm up for the next round of swimming!

There were hundreds of fish in the water wherever you swam.

Pretty big fish actually!

Look how gorgeous it is! The water is a pretty sensational colour. It flows from a river into this big pool.

This is the river that runs to the pool.

 The nice huts.

And then I turned all Nat Geo Wild again on everyone and started to take photos of the wildlife! Look how many butterflies there are...

Tereza, Vasco and Kyle in the hut...

Nat Geo again....But they were everywhere, I couldn't help it.

They even landed on me!

Cute dog!

Miff looking spider hanging from a banana tree - notice that it only has 4 legs... theses creatures in Asia are weird!

Can you see the love hearts in my eyes????

Monks on the bridge...I wonder if they had to pay the entrance fee to get into the Blue Lagoon???

Do you see the Luuurve in his eyes???

Lizards, lizards, lizards....huge ones....everywhere. Totally love them though because they eat all the mozzies!
